Theresa
Wasden understands how the power of one can change a life, a community and a
generation. When her daughter was born with Spina Bifida, life
changed. Sleep wasn't as important. Family meant everything.
Day to day living was a challenge worth meeting.
"Jessica taught everyone she came in contact with. She may not have
even talked to you but watching her struggle to walk or talk gave you a
glimpse into what a real hero is. Jess was the first one to introducer
herself to the new kid at school. She was the first one to "give it
a shot." She seemed to know her role in life was to just show others
how to live and she did it well."
Theresa
has been teaching theatre, music and leadership in schools and communities for
23 years. As a director, her purpose has always been based on the need
for the cast experience to be even greater than the production. "People,
not things. Life... not time" was the goal.
Eric Crowell, writer of Awesome Journey says "Leadership is a
choice."
Theresa Wasden adds... and life is a revelation.
